Little Pop Studio

Have you heard of Little Pop Studio?  I only heard of them late last year and immediately knew I had to have their batman watercolour prints for the website. We also happen to be their first UK stockist and we are kind of proud of that title!

I found them via my current favourite social media platform – Instagram I love when I find a gem and just a couple of months later it makes it to my shop. Little Pop Studio is the brainchild of Bianca Acke, a New Zealander and very talented artist who creates these prints. There is definitely a trend for batman/superheros at the moment and these are such a cool take on them.

What do you think? Cool or what! Perfect for any superhero fan whether little or big.  Now available for purchase HERE

Bye for now

Japanese Paper Balloons

I’m so in love with the Petra Boase Japanese paper balloons. I’ve admired them for a while now and have finally ordered LOADS for the shop and it seems like you all like them too. Perfect for parties but equally perfect for kids decor -hung in groups like in the picture. They’re great if, like me you don’t have a lot of puff… in a couple of seconds you’ve got an instant fully blown paper balloon. Then when you want to take them down you just pat them flat. Easy peasy!

Art Prints & Festivals

The beauty of twitter is that sometimes you come across something you instantly love!  That  was the case for these fantastics prints by Showler & Showler.

Can you see the penguin with the balloons from the first picture? Clever!

We’re super busy getting ready for some upcoming fairs we’re exhibiting at this summer.

First up is at A Most Curious Baby Fair in Norwich 14th July

Then on to Dizzy’s Diner Family Festival in Beckenham, Kent 15th July which just so happens to be organised by my brother in law, owner of Dizzy’s Diner, which is great for a family friendly 50′s diner experience!

And we’ll end the summer at the very popular Lollibop Festival in Regents Park, London on 17th,18th &19th August.

So all in all a busy summer ahead…Hope to see you soon.

Bert & Betty Pop Up Shop

Just thought I’d write a well overdue post about Bert & Betty who currently have some of their best sellers displayed at Home & Kids.  Bert & Betty is a boutique kitchen shop, selling all the very best in kitchen accessories and gadgetry.  I’ve loved having their products at the shop as it adds another dimension for customers.

In case you’re interested, this Nicholas Mosse jug has been a best seller here at the shop.  I’d never heard of him before but now realise that his pottery has quite the following!

Next week brings the end to this happy partnership, so if you’d like the chance to browse, come this week, other wise, visit Bert & Betty in Greenwich for a much broader range.

See you soon

Have you heard of Pinterest?  I’ve had an account with them for a while but have only recently started using it regularly.  It’s kind of an online pin board where you can upload pictures you find online or indeed your own, which inspire or interest you.

Above are a pictures I love, some are originally from other pinterest users which I have repinned, some are online discoveries and some are by me.  Often I will refer to them when I’m looking for ideas or inspiration and other times I pin them just because…

Below are pictures from my board named Outdoors.  These stunning scenes look perfect.  I look at them and dream…

Why don’t you give it a go, get pinning, you’ll love it!

See you soon
